Cambridge University’s youngest-ever black professor was found dead at his London home on Friday.
He was just 41 years old.
After joining the university as a professor of sociology at the age of 37, Jason Arday became known as a poster-boy for DEI.
Then, last week, he resigned amid an investigation into allegations that he plagiarized part of his PhD dissertation.
At this time, we don’t know what Arday’s cause of death was.
Police are referring to his passing as “unexpected” but not “suspicious.”
NBC News reported:
In addition to being accused of plagiarism, Arday allegedly lied about his past.
The New York Post explained further:
This CBS news clip dove deeper into the allegations Arday was facing at the time of his unexpected death:
What are your thoughts?
Do you find the circumstances of this disgraced professor’s death suspicious?
