This is (almost) unbelievable.
An illegal immigrant from Mexico has been arrested in Los Angeles, CA for lying about her citizenship in order to land a job at a prominent military contractor.
And, get this — she was able to get away with it for over three decades!
54-year-old Alma Patricia Contreras Villafana was taken into custody by federal agents on Friday after an hours-long standoff at the Howmet Aerospace factory where she was employed as a machinist for 30 years.

Reportedly, the company put up a struggle when authorities showed up to arrest Contreras Villafana.
She refused to leave the building for over two hours as company officials denied agents entrance.
But, in the end, she emerged and was immediately handcuffed.
She’s now staring down potential decades behind bars.
The New York Post reported further:
It’s astonishing how this illegal Mexican immigrant was able to fake U.S. citizenship and keep such an important job for 30 years.
In fact, it’s incredibly alarming!
How in the world didn’t an aerospace manufacturer that does business with the U.S. military catch that sooner?
