On Sunday morning, former President Barack Obama decided to give American his opinion on the recent raid on Somalia-born Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar’s D.C. home.
As you most likely already know, Rep. Omar’s residence was raided by federal agents in the early morning hours last Monday as part of an ongoing DOJ investigation into allegations of immigration fraud.
In a post on X, Obama claimed that the whole thing is a politically-motivated witch hunt against Rep. Ilhan Omar by the Trump administration.

Keep in mind this is the same Obama who spied on President Trump’s first presidential campaign and played a big role in the Russia collusion hoax!
I guess it’s okay when Democrats go after their enemies for no other reason than political differences, but it’s wrong when Republicans do it — which, by the way, isn’t even what’s happening here.
The investigation into Ilhan Omar actually began under the Biden administration.
But, it was closed until the Trump administration re-opened it.
After seizing Ilhan Omar’s sister’s cell phone, federal agents discovering damning text messages between their family members.
So, they got a Democrat federal judge to authorize last week’s raid on Omar’s home.

Still, the irony of Barack Obama criticizing the Trump DOJ for so-called “political persecution” is not lost on the American people.
