Anthropic Revises Usage Policy, Bans 'Cruelty' Against Claude AI

Anthropic has rewritten its usage policy for the first time in more than a year, adding new restrictions on election interference, weapons development, and surveillance. Dario Amodei's AI giant has raised eyebrows by also adding a policy that will ban users who treat the Claude AI chatbot with "abusive or cruel behavior."
